So its winter time and that is when we usually get to do some custom builds for our great customers. Here is a bike that we are particularly proud of. It is a custom 2 stage powder coat with custom cut graphics. The graphics are done in house (call for details) and the powder coat is sent out to a friend of the shop. Intense was nice enough to send the frame to us in a totally raw form (bonus for being made in America). Our custom wheel program is one of the best around. Buy all of the parts from us at MSRP…then we will build them and maintain the tension for the life of the wheel for FREE! Enjoy the visuals.
When we moved to a bigger place we decided we needed to have a better selection. Well if you come in you can choose from a ton of different brands. Not only do we carry Devinci, Kona, Transition, Intense, Norco, & Giant (at our sister store Burien Cycle). We have a ton of BMX parts and bikes (we can get almost anything). Comfort bikes like Raleigh, Diamondback and Electra. Road bikes from Surly, Soma, Raleigh, Redline and Norco. Check out a few of the things that have come through in the last couple of months.
We are still stoked to have had this happen in our shop. The next time we will be prepared to throw a huge party! So stay tuned for more fun.

I was lucky enough to stop by Crater Cycles in Maui. I was not even planning on riding (notice the slip on checkered Vans). Neal, the owner said he had a bike to rent and a map for a 7000 ft. shuttleable descent. He was not allowed to take me but said I should be able to manage finding the bottom. So the solo mission was on! (Sorry it is all helmet cam but the views were amazing)

Bjorn Aunet the maker of this great film stopped by the shop this week to drop off some Barred for Life 2 DVD’s. Two Washington locals have parts in the DVD…Luke Strobel & Bryn Atkinson. So stop by the shop and pick up a copy! It has Regular and Blu Ray…or call in and we will send you a copy.
Well we went up to the newly opened Burlington Bike Park and had a blast. The pump track is a tight fit but loose enough to gain speed until the world blurs. All of the jumps may look huge to new comers but they are well built with tons of room for error. I had not rode jumps in about 4 months and not on a bike in 2. But after a few laps I was hitting the medium line with no problems. They are always dialing it in so it is only going to get better.
Demolition Parts crew showed up in the Northwest to hit up our trail scene. The riders included Chris Doyle, Dave Dillewaard, Ronnie Napolitan, Kris Fox, Rob Wise and Mike “Hucker” Clark. They dodged the weather and were able to ride some sick trails and even stop by the shop for a sesh. Keep updated here…next week for shop footage!
