WHAT TO DO WITH A $1000 26″ ROCKSHOX PIKE PAPERWEIGHT?!?

Here is the 2 big things that happened to mountain bikes in the last 2 years and in the order they came in. The Rockshox Pike took over as the Go-To suspension fork and then mountain bikes that were 26″ wheels now have 27.5″ wheels. Unfortunately if you purchased the Pike for 26″ wheels then later came to terms that 27.5″ wheels are the new standard and got a new 27.5″ trail bike…

WHAT TO DO WITH A $1000 26″ ROCKSHOX PIKE PAPERWEIGHT?!?

ANSWER!!! You bring it in and we lower it to 100mm and install it on a DJ Frame along with your other 26″ parts! Its $200 total for parts and labor to lower any 35mm Stanchion Pike (including converting dual position to solo air) and with 26″ used parts prices dropping like crazy you can either sell it and lose $300-$500 off your $1000 fork investment or you can put $200 into it and have an amazing DJ fork!
